THE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT, AND THEY SERVE UNEXPECTEDLY FINE FOOD (BEING IN SUCH A TURISTY SITE). IF IT’S NOT DARK YET, SIT AT ONE OF THE TABLES IN THE COURTYARD UNTIL THE WAITER/WAITRESS LIGHTS UP THE CANDLE AT YOUR TABLE. LET THE LIGHT FLICKER ON YOUR FACE FOR A LITTLE WHILE MORE, AND THEN INDULGE YOURSELF IN THE MELODY OF LIVE MUSIC.
 
 
ORIGEN 99.9% One of the chain restaurants in Barcelona. From the name it’s not difficult to expect a healthy meal inside, but what you might be surprised at is that the food at Origen is both organic and delicious. Even the interior design looks organic. One thing that I loved is the way they present their menu, which is just like a cooking magazine that has articles and recipes. They list the ingredients and a brief description for every single dish they have. They even provide recipes for some dishes. This is the place that makes the equation ‘health = tastiness’ work. This is the kind of place that you would say to yourself one day after work, “You’ve worked hard, why not treat yourself to a nice dinner at Origen.” WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ORDER ?
